A public lecture on 8 January 2015 by Richard Owen (Exeter) on "Responsible Research and Innovation: from nice words to meaningful action" attracted widespread interest from across the University of Nottingham. Following this, Sarah Hartley and Warren Pearce organised a workshop to explore different understandings within the University of what RRI means and how it should be developed.
