Transferring Western Technology to Developing Countries:

Principal Investigator, Center for Infectious Disease and Vaccinology at the Biodesign Institute, Arizona State University

Dr. Jameson Wetmore
Assistant Professor, School of Human Evolution & Social Change,
and Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes,
Arizona State University

Dr. Jacobs, whose research includes programs in Africa related to HIV, will discuss technology transfer to developing countries. Social and ethical issues surrounding the transfer of Western technology will be considered by Dr. Wetmore.
