Aíxa García-Mont
Graduate Research Assistant, Center for Nanotechnology in Society
Aíxa Garcia-Mont graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from the University
of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus in May 2005. Shortly after Aíxa started
her Masters degree in the program of Social and Philosophical
Foundations of Education at Arizona State University. Aíxa's research
interests are in the exploration and documentation of identity concerns
of Minority groups, especially Latinas, in relation to their educational
experiences. Aíxa is currently working as a graduate
research assistant on the Knowledge/Identity/Practice in Nanoscale
Science and Engineering project at CNS-ASU.
